Join us for the official launch event of the Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Launch. The center will foster both entrepreneurship and innovation for the Goizueta community born of critical inquiry, developed to serve fundamental societal needs, executed according to sound business principles, and conceptualized in ways that open possibilities and spark imagination.
Learn more about the center’s programs and resources and hear from alumnus Bill Carr 94MBA, an entrepreneur and former Amazon VP for 15 years. Carr is co-founder of Working Backwards, LLC where he coaches and advises executives at early stage and established companies around the globe. He previously served as the COO of OfferUp, the largest mobile marketplace for local buyers and sellers in the U.S. Prior to OfferUp he was an Executive In Residence with Maveron, LLC, an early-stage, consumer-only venture capital firm. Carr is coauthor of the book, "Working Backwards: Insights, Stories, and Secrets from Inside Amazon." He will share insights from his career including his time at Amazon where he launched and managed the company's global digital music and video businesses, such as Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Amazon Studios.
The center’s launch will be followed by a series of panels and an opportunity to network in small groups with the community. Register today!
