Join the TRHT Initiative in our Virtual Living Room! Description: Join the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Initiative at Emory University during the 2024 United States election season monthly in our virtual living room, a safe, brave, and respectful place for everyone to engage about the election process, share their individual perspectives about voting and political perspectives, and how we move together as one community. Living Room Conversations (LRC) is a non-profit organization launched in 2010 by Amanda Roman and Joan Blades as a transpartisan political partnerships designed to connect people across differences to build trust and understanding.  The TRHT Initiative at Emory University is one of seventy-two host institutions in partnership with the American Association of Colleges and Universities preparing the next generation of leaders to break down systemic racism and dismantle the belief in a hierarchy of human value through a shared humanity perspective.
